Handmade in the Leila Ray Studio, this stunning sunflower yellow smock dress is a rare treasure.
The linen is a c. 1940s fabric which has been hand embroidered and appliquéd. The green stripe is also the original fabric trim. 100 % linen.
We have reworked the fabric into a smock dress style using an original 1970s pattern from a single piece. The dress is loose fitting with appliqué on the front and back bodice. It has a square neck, centre back zip, and side pockets. Gathered skirt with high waist, and contrast colour ties. Wonderful wide long kimono sleeves with a green border trim. This dress is a unique piece.

waist: raised width flat 21ins
length back neck to hem: 50ins
