This Millie Blouse is a collectible treasure. It features super fine summer weight linen fabric and dreamy silk-like organza sheer sleeves. We believe the bodice textile is historic pina fabric from the Philippines. Pineapple fibres are woven to achieve a silk-like quality prior to embroidering.
Steeped in the recognisable features of a Leila Ray blouse, this garment has spectacular cotton embroidered crane birds, sweet flowers, openwork yarns on fine white linen.
All our garments are handmade in Dorset, England.

Features a round neckline, 1/2 length puff sleeves and front V open neckline. 'A' line silhouette gathered at the neck.
Size: Best fits a UK 8-10 today.
Length back neck to hem: 26ins
Armpitn to Armpit: 18ins with gathers draped loosely.
Garment care: please treat this unique garment with great care. hand wash in cool water, wring super gently, air dry, press carefully when slightly damp for a beautiful finish.
Please note there may be one or two small marks on the vintage fabrics due to age. All textiles are repurposed vintage or deadstock unused old textile pieces. Providing an exact date and source is often difficult!
