Upcycled! The most heavenly French linen farmer’s shirt from the early 1900s. Originally created in a weighty chalky white woven linen - worthy of a Rose Uniacke living room - with intricate gathers and classic shape. The thing about the early 1900s is people were a lot smaller in those days, so these garments come up small at the neck and cuffs… so upcycling is the magic solution! We’ve reshaped the neck, removed the collar and enlarged the cuffs. But most importantly, we’ve added the cross-stitch embroideries to bring this garment to life and echo the look of an early European peasant blouse 🤍❤️🤍 … finally nothing beats the softness of washed and worn linen against your skin on a hot summers day… see you on holiday somewhere rustic, soon.
best fits a size 10-12. Loose fit style.
we accept returns in this item.
The linen has one or two small marks at back which are visible, and probably won’t come out with hand washing.
This is an early feature of our upcycled linen pieces to come later in the summer - enjoy!
